We Can Help Our Military Families Through Sears

Christmas is a time of giving and sharing an it usually brings out the best in us except during Black Friday when people act recklessly and push and shove and actually injure other people. That is not who we are we are better than that. We are the ones that open our heart and pocketbooks and give to those less fortunate than we are because we are grateful for all that we have.

Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry is an excellent program started for veterans and military personnel and so far 681,879 donations have been collected and will be given out in equal amounts through gift cards to those that are registered. You can visit the site at that link to find out what it’s all about and make a donation to help, any amount is appreciated, however your donation is not tax deductible.

You would be giving freely from the heart to help these military families have a nicer Christmas. You can also spread the word by placing a banner on your site like I have in the side bar. I was checking the wish list and the top things these families are requesting are children’s clothing and shoes and a lot of household items of course when they receive the Sears gift card they can choose whatever they please.

We are good caring people and I know everyone likes to help when they can so if you feel it in your heart and can spare a couple dollars then it will make some military families much happier this season.
