I Read Political Blogs To Gain Insight
I read political blogs to gain insight about politics not for their personal opinions of who is right for the job. I simply want to know the facts and where each party stands on the issues. This is a small rant about bloggers and why they think I really want to know who they are voting for and how horrible they think the other party is and what they think they are doing wrong. Unless you are a political blog that tells both sides of the story both pros and cons then I really don’t care what your opinion is.
I don’t talk politics or who I think may do the best job because my opinions are my own and so are my beliefs. Lately I have been going to food blogs, entertainment blogs, diet blogs, you name it and everyone wants to express their views about the campaign that is going on in the USA. That of course is their prerogative because it’s their blog, but it’s not what I’m expecting to see when I visit. We all have our political opinions, but do we really have to force them on everyone that visits our blog?

I have to agree with you. I read a ton of blogs and really would like to keep politics and other thing separate. I can understand posting a “button” or banner, but constant political threads are really a turn off to me when it is a non political blog.

I totally agree with you and I’ll be glad when these elections are over. We’re coming to the end of the campaign here in Canada (but of course only Canadians know about this because the US election is front stage). As for the election in the US, I sympathize with Americans having to put up with what amounts to 2 years of campaigning.

In regards to the debate last night, I thought it was boring. I did not learn anything new about either candidate.
I wish they would change the format and let the two talk directly to each other, rather than letting the moderator control everything.

I would like to thank each of you for your comments and I will be happy when the whole thing is over also so someone can get started doing something for our country and I hope we pick the right man for the job.
