I’m not sure if everyone reads their e-mail from the Entrecard blog and if you don’t I would suggest that you pay a visit to their blog because they have just updated the quality standards. I have a few listed below, but you’ll have to visit the blog to read the rest. As you can see below no automatic music can play nor those auto play ads, now that one I really like as I’m sure everyone else will also.

1. No full-screen ads: Blogs that include a “Skip This Ad” popup or other full-screen ads will be removed.
2. Content must be original: Unoriginal content provides no value to the reader. A site that consists only of posts from “free article” sites, copies of articles from news sites, stolen or scraped content is not allowed.
3. No autoplaying audio: This includes music that plays automatically when you visit the page, or short audio ads that come up unannounced.

Everyone needs to pay particular attention to this one:
A2. Sites that only consist of paid posts, product review, affiliate links, or general spam. Basically, sites that only exist to make money without providing any useful content. Note: This does not mean that Make Money Online blogs are not allowed. It just means that the blog must have some valuable content and not be entirely made up of paid posts.

As many bloggers have already been swept out of the Izea programs for not meeting their quality standards it looks like the same thing could be happening with Entrecard. Entrecard is such a great source of traffic that it would be a pity to have to find another program to try and equal it. So I encourage you to go read all of their guidelines and make sure your blog is up to their standards.

I noticed many of the blogs in my inbox had been deleted and they tell you on the blog that they wont even give you a warning so I doubt if these people even know it yet or they might by now. They shouldn’t be in my inbox tomorrow because if they don’t exist then they can’t drop. You can bet that many blogs will be turned in and deleted over the next few days so I wish the best for everyone.

I told you about the ListBuilding Club last night and wanted to share an e-mail I received today which sounds very encouraging on my new path to riches. Of course I can’t give any details about anything like the call or what I hear because those rights belong especially to the creator. It didn’t say that I couldn’t share the e-mail though. I guess I’ll find out how ambitious I really am.

I have been on Shawn Casey’s list for years, but I guess I never really applied my self like Tellman has. Well, of course I haven’t if I had the knowledge I would have used it by now and made just as much money or maybe not. I’ll decide if I’m cut out to be an entrepreneur after this and if not then I wont be joining any more programs. I know you need to have a lot of drive and willingness to do what it takes and maybe I was right when I said that I’m just a lousy marketer.

I know that sounds like I’m sabotaging myself before I even get started, but over the years I have become a sceptic and more cautious when dealing with any online programs and I think that is a good thing, but at least I can try it for 30 days free before I jump into anything. At any rate the e-mail is below and usually if something is sensitive it will state that the content can’t be shared so if I’m asked to remove it I will. Have a great day everyone.

So, with all that said, here’s the details of
today’s call…

I can certainly understand why people do so many memes, awards, contest and trivia posts. Besides bringing links and extra visitors it also gives them something to blog about. I know it might get tiresome seeing the same awards on everyones blog, but they have so much fun passing them around and getting link backs.

If you were just a casual surfer you wouldn’t notice it as much, but if you belong to a program like Entrecard you tend to see the same stuff on all of the blogs sort of like paid posting when you drop ec’s you pretty much see the same topic being discussed and I know it gets boring because it is for me too.

I do an odd meme every once in awhile, well actually I’ve done 3 and not on this blog, but I only give a link back to the blog that tagged me and I don’t pass them on to anyone else, maybe I should learn to participate more in these types of socialization group activities then I would have more links back here.

I’m still trying to come up with a different idea and theme for this blog, but haven’t hit on anything yet. This blog doesn’t get as much traffic as my other 2 blogs, but that doesn’t really concern me right now. I’ll be away the week of the 22 and I wont have access to a computer so I wont be dropping cards, but maybe that’s a good thing maybe I can come up with some ideas during that time.

I have told you about many programs that I have been involved with that haven’t worked for me online. I always wanted to make a lot of money, who doesn’t? I have also tried to build a list with different programs in the past which failed, but I am willing to try at least one more program and I’ll let you know how this new one called The ListBuilding Club does for me.

This man,Tellman Knudson is offering a marketing test for his new program and I can get a free month of the gold level. They say they can teach anyone to make money online and show you how to start your own business in under 30 days. Full use of the club for a full 30 days and if nothing has come of it by then it can be canceled. The price to stay in the club after that is 97 dollars nothing ventured, nothing gained.

If I see that it works then that would be a small price to pay, but if it isn’t for me then I haven’t lost anything. If you want to check this out you will have to sign up, I usually always give my hotmail address when I sign up for anything and then it takes you to another page and tells you about everything involved.

You should know beforehand that you will have to give your credit card information so if you don’t have one then I don’t see how you could try this. Nothing will be billed to your account unless you decide to stay in the The ListBuilding Club after the initial 30 free days.

I’m sure many people know where to test their site to see what your loading time is, but many people that are just starting a site or blog do not. I know how exciting it is to start your own blog, but many people get carried away and think the more stuff they add the better it is. Of course after you start running into other blogs that take forever to load you might realize that it’s because of all the graphics and music and videos plus all the fancy widgets for god knows what.

If your blog doesn’t load fast enough you may be losing alot of visitors. We are an impatient lot or at least I am because when a blog takes too long I simply close the tab even if it was something I really wanted to see. Of course if you are doing EC drops and opening numerous tabs at the same time you can expect a delay with some of the blogs and because everyone likes all those fancy doodads and ad units they will sometimes stall your browser and then you have to reboot.

I know my blog looks generic, but at least after removing alot of useless garbage it loads in 3.7 seconds and for those of you that don’t know where to test the loading time of your blog or site you can use the tool at Pingdom and the following is how they describe the tool. “The Full Page Test loads a complete HTML page including all objects (images, CSS, JavaScripts, RSS, Flash and frames/iframes). It mimics the way a page is loaded in a web browser.”

I’m sure you will find this to be a useful tool, I know I did so now I need to test all my other sites and blogs to see what I can get rid of. Happy blogging.
