Back To The Grind After The Labor Day Weekend
I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing Labor Day weekend, I know we certainly enjoyed our time and it makes it hard to get back into the usual work week routine after having so much fun with family and friends. Sometimes it’s hard to self motivate and keep on top of everything. I know I need to get started on my return drops after being idle for 3 days and no post updates, but I do notice while dropping that many people only update once a week.
It does help with receiving drops and visitors during holidays if you have a campaign running, but unless you pay for EC’s then you have to keep up with dropping so you will have credits to advertise with. I haven’t purchased EC’s, but many people do and from reading some posts it seems that the credits aren’t really worth much right now. I try to keep ahead with credits so I can use them when I go on vacation or other special times.
This past week when someone chooses to advertise their widget on my blog I have also been requesting a spot on their blog so far no one has declined me as being unsuitable for their blog. I stopped receiving a notice of bloggers that decide they really don’t want to host my widget because sometimes it hurts my feelings when I try to figure out what’s so great about their blog when I receive not relative from them so if I don’t get the notice of a decline then it doesn’t bother me.
I have also set the accept advertisers automatically that have already been featured on my blogs and it makes it so much easier for me now. If I’m out of town and don’t have access to a computer then they don’t have to have their credits tied up waiting for me to return and accept them which is a great idea. Entrecard has a lot going for it and it really has helped many bloggers increase the Alexa rank although I don’t put much stock in Alexa many people do. I have to get started on a few pending projects so have a great day.
