PayPerPost Cheaters
I have just started a new category called PayPerPost Cheaters. As a rule when I run across a blog that has gone against PPP TOS I don’t bother because I figure the people that are running that program should police the people that do work for them not me, but this is getting ridiculous. I still wont report them, but I will add them to my cheater list.
There are so many honest people that do posting for a few dollars and play by the rules that I am getting disgusted with thieves and crooks and that is how I am starting to see people that cheat with programs and since PPP is the only one I do that will be the only one that concerns me. When and if I run across more they will go into my gallery so watch yourself you could be famous for the wrong reasons.
I am aware that many posters also are members of Entrecard because they are trying to lower their real rank, but do these people realize that they are being scrutinized by other PPP members or do they just not care that they may be caught? I will personally not report them, but I have decided to get a screen capture when I run across one of these thieves and shame them by posting a picture.
I will not go out of my way to look for these cheaters, but if it’s blatantly thrown in my face I will certainly share it with the world. Who wants to be labeled a cheater? Not I…. Of course people make mistakes like when they are in a hurry to grab another opp they may forget they are suppose to write an interim post between paid ones.
Some posters add 3 paid opps per blog per day and sometimes get confused I guess with all their blogs. I personally never take that many because it’s too much work. When I was dropping EC’s this morning I ran across the first cheater and what they are doing is holding an opp until they can write the post while they grab another opp. This is cheating with a capitol C and they are taking away an opp that someone else could have done.
I did the same opp so I know it’s for PPP. I wish I had paid attention before I dropped because I never would have given them a credit, but usually I drop on the blog then go back and read over the recent post and if that’s interesting then I read more and may comment if they don’t make it difficult like registering or something else weird.
Below you will find the first PPP Cheater that I have found, click to enlarge and then click again to bring into focus. The address is in the screen capture encase you want to avoid their blog.

Below is the screenshot I took a few minutes ago and now the real post is in place, how sad that people have to stoop so low to make a few dollars and the screenshot after that shows hi as the interim post between 2 opps and then the third shot shows the longer interim post. Now tell me that they don’t know what they are doing.

Wow, this person just keeps going and repeating her success below is a new screenshot of a new opp she just took and held so she can write her post after grabbing another one. I wonder how many people actually do this and never get caught.

Whenever there’s a way to make money, there is someone cheating on them.

Hi Liv,
To each his own ethics I guess and since those aren’t my ethics I have no qualms about exposing someones blog as dishonest maybe other people will stop and think about their own exposure if they aren’t following a companies TOS, what a pity. Thanks for stopping.

I don’t do pay-per-posts, so I don’t really know how this works.
I guess you cannot take another paid post opportunity until you finished your previous one?
So the cheaters just post a draft about the paid-offer and take the next opportunity and meantime write a longer post about the first topic?

Hi Bingolady,
They reserve an opp then copy and paste what the description says and put the links required in to get it approved by the system then they do like this person did by putting in hi or whatever to save a spot for the interim post then grab another opp then go back and write the post for the first required opp before it is manualy checked then add the interim post and repeat until they have grabbed all opps that are allowed.
According to TOS you must complete an opp then add your original content that must be at least 3 or 4 sentences and then you may take another opp if one is available for you.
I hope that makes sense for you. Thanks for stopping by.

I don’t know, I’m not really a fan of PayPerPost. I used to use it, but just found that it’s just not fair to not be required to disclose in every single post. It interfered with my ethics in advertising to my bloggers unknowingly (and a site-wide is just not enough.)
Back when I used PayPerPost, I used to use filler to stick in between the posts when I couldn’t think of what to write and then later I would come back and make the “filler” better by making it longer.
But yeah, pretty much every blog I’ve come across that uses PayPerPost, I’ll immediately leave. It pollutes the blogosphere. I mean how many posts do we need full of cheesy “I love this eyeglass company.” It takes the originality out of blogging.
Back when I used PPP, I deleted each post after the 30 days were up. There is no rule saying we can’t do that!

Is it possible for the system to identify that kind of manipulations?
August 16th, 2008 at 3:21 pm
Ahh Jude, Thanks for the explanation, it is clear for me now.
Oh well, not the best practice, I’m sorry to hear that a system could allow this kind of cheating like this.
Sad

@ Is… they kind of rely on snitches to report cheaters as far as I can tell and I don’t feel like it’s my responsibility, but the blantant disregard kind of got my goat and it ticked me off that people do that and I had never actually seen it. If it jumps in my face again I will do the same as I just did with this post

@ Anonymous thanks for your comment, but I don’t answer if your not real except for telling you I don’t respond of course.

wow it’s me did you ask me why when why I posted that way at first? I paste the requirements directly to my blog because I don’t have microsoft word I copy it the requirements directly to my blog so it’s easy for me since I don’t have microsoft word.I save it because my system is not working properly most of the time. Then after I’m saving it I continue my work and edit and post again. How come I became a Cheater.Thats my way of posting as of now not until I get microsoft word.

If it’s bothered you that I do it that way you can report me to the PPP if you want if I cheated. But by the way thanks for the concern it makes me smile. You are intelligent blogger that you noticed my site.
August 18th, 2008 at 9:31 am
Sorry for doing that way but for sure when I get my microsoft word I will use it and you don’t think of me being a cheater. Thanks for the concern.

Can I ask your email add? if you don’t mind?
August 18th, 2008 at 11:52 am
@Mitch… I would advise you to read the terms of service what you are doing is against tos and it’s called cheating the system it’s not my responsibility to report you they don’t pay me to police for people that cheat the system.
If it doesn’t bother your conscience then so be it. It actually surprised me to see such blatant disregard so if I happen on it again from any blog I visit they will go straight to my cheater category.
You may leave a comment here if you need to reach me I don’t need spam at my e-mail address. I usually approve all comments good bad or ugly unless it’s out and out spam.

Thanks for the concern and for saying that I’m a cheater. It’s nice to know an honest person like you.
August 18th, 2008 at 3:00 pm
Jude, may I ask a favor to please delete this post not for me but for my friend I post her face and it shows and her name too. If you want to post that I am a cheater you may take another pictures of my blog and post it again. Will you please change the picture or get the name below it shows my friends name and half of her face. Thank you.
August 18th, 2008 at 4:38 pm
@ Mitch I took screen shots of what I saw conspiring at a very early hour and was very surprised at such a blatant disregard of tos. You should have thought about the consequences before you used your friends image on the cheats. I can not take another post image because the ones shown are the ones you used and that would be falsifying information and I can’t do that, sorry.
It’s not a matter of me being so honest it is a matter of someone cheating and that’s not acceptable anymore. If you ever find me cheating please take a screen shot and expose me, you can not dispute a screenshot no matter what you say, they speak for their self. There is no way around it.
By the way since you have left so many comments they are now going into my spam and I had to fish these 2 out. I don’t always check Akismet so if more are left I may not find them.
August 20th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
Jude it is not against the TOS of the PPP if mitch did not submit her post that way. If she go ahead and change her entry then submit the final change to the PPP it is not cheating…you should reprt her to PPP if you are concern, not blog about it and dont know their reason why they do that..
August 20th, 2008 at 2:58 pm
@Jan How do you know she didn’t submit it that way since she had all the correct links in, but was holding the opp with a pasted part of the opp why publish it if she wasn’t done with it enough to submit it? The screen shots above show what I saw and it looks like cheating to me and no reason is good enough to do that.
When I take an opp I write it and then publish it and I never cut and paste anything to hold an opp that is against TOS. Have a good day and maybe this will stop other people that think they can get away with cheating because believe me someone some where is always watching and will catch you at some point in time.
August 20th, 2008 at 3:58 pm
I don’t like cheaters either. You should be a cop! How do you get a screen shot into a post?
August 20th, 2008 at 5:12 pm
I use Irvan view and simply set it too capture an image and with wordpress you just upload it like any other jpg. or gif.
