The Alzheimer’s Memory Walk is important for many of us that have loved ones and friends that have been afflicted. I have known several people myself with this disease and it’s considered the 6th leading cause of death in the US. It’s a very difficult and heart breaking situation to deal with when a parent or loved one forgets everything and especially when they forget you.
When I was younger I participated in the walks to raise money to help awareness and help find a cure, but I have a problem with my hips now and can’t walk long distances. You don’t actually have to walk to be a team captain though, but you need to have some organizational skills. The walks are usually held in the Fall and are usually between 2 to 3 miles.
You can contact your local chapter to see how you can join or start your own team from work or just rally your community together and it’s a great way to bring everyone closer together when you are all working for a common goal. There are more than 600 communities that participate and over 200,000 people that join in the walks, there is even a team in Iraq.
There are many corporations that get involved and form teams and you can check those out at the site above. Maybe you are already on one of these teams and if so maybe you could just leave a message to let everyone know how good it makes you feel to be involved. Almost everyone has a loved one or knows someone that has been afflicted and it really makes you feel like you’re doing something great when you get involved and can help in any possible way.

I haven’t dropped cards for this blog for quite awhile, but I have still received visitors from the search engines and even a few from Entrecard and for that I thank-you. I noticed that they now have the Entrebar and I did try it, but I have now disabled it. Entrecard is one of the best ways I have found for quality traffic, but you really do have to stay on top of it. If you go away and aren’t active then your blog drops into oblivion.
I am also grateful for the money that I made from PayPerPost because it financed my family emergency and so I am going to work toward using this blog simply to make extra money from that type of posting and it really doesn’t matter any more what anyone thinks about my way of earning income so long as it doesn’t bother me, which it has in the past. I of course don’t want a spam blog so I will try to make it not appear as such.
I was surprised to see that one of my blogs actually received a rank while I was gone so I will try to keep that going and find other ways to monetize that blog because I really like that one. Can’t say I have much liking for this one even though it’s the oldest, I simply don’t know what to do with this one yet. I have some good information here on certain things, but there really is no clear cut purpose.
I have noticed that people don’t dig very deeply for information they might be seeking unless they come directly from the search engine to pages deep within your blog and since people are so impatient, me included unless it’s spelled out for them and easy to access they simply click away. I have tried to make this blog easy to navigate, but I’m afraid it isn’t proving to be very successful. This simply isn’t a very interesting blog.
When my brain starts functioning again I am going to change it, but I simply don’t have time to develop anything right now. Even I don’t spend that much time here because it’s boring and has no real purpose. It did start out as a blog to show programs that have worked for me online or rather hasn’t worked for me, but since I got tired of marketing I haven’t really been trying new programs lately.
There are way too many blogs and bloggers out there that use this niche and it doesn’t work for me any more. As anyone that knows me knows, I am horrible at marketing and pushing products even when I worked in the real world I couldn’t sell anything because I have never been very aggressive or pushy. I hate when sales people try to push me into something when I’m not ready yet so it’s hard for me to convince people that I have something they need.
