I’m lazy when it comes to marketing that’s why I don’t make the money. One of the few that I’m still involved with is the Geo affiliate program Got-Zip which is actually a good program, but I didn’t work it right nor did I advertise correctly in my area to increase and push my earnings. I blame myself not the program because I have made passive money for doing nothing or at least I have made some of the money back that I have invested.

The first screenshot below is for my zip code which cost 19.95 a year and if anyone had made purchases in my area I would have made a commission, but since I didn’t know how to market this unique program I only made a small amount from the group monies that are spread out between all zip codes. Since joining in 05 I have spent 60 dollars to make 30 not very bright am I? (I rounded the figures up)

I decided to sponsor my county which was a cost of 19.97 a month and I paid 3 months before the CEO was nice and gave a yearly special for 99.95 a year so in all I have spent a total of 260 dollars for the time I have been in the program and the figures in the following screenshot look a little better because you can see the figures have been climbing and up till May the grand total is 232 so I think by the end of the year I will break even.

If I had been a good marketer I could have taken this program and really made some money, but I have had to concede that my heart just isn’t in it and I’m not the most ambitious person. I did try at first to advertise this program, but it just didn’t catch on in my area so like I said I didn’t make the money. If the special yearly for county isn’t available next year I will probably cut my loses or earnings and run unless I become a good marketer.
