Do I really have a life? Well, sometimes I tend to forget that I need to live in the real world and since the computer has been offline since Friday and today is Tuesday all I can say is, wow 4 days sure do pass in a hurry and the funny part is that I didn’t die without it, can you imagine that? We get so wrapped up in the life we create online with our friends and businesses that some of us forget that we do actually have a real life to take care of or at least I do.

I have tried to prioritize in the past and have done very well, but then sometimes when I get caught up in a project I tend to forget everything else. I’m not looking forward to going through 4 days worth of e-mail and various other things that have been neglected while being offline. I need to catch up on some posts for various blogs also so this will be a short one because my partner is home sick and I’ll be playing nurse, but normally he doesn’t let me do much for him, so have a good day.

I still haven’t decided on a plan for this blog and right now it seems like wasted space because I’m really not contributing anything with it and I make very little money from it. I’m like a pack rat holding onto things that should be cleared away. I always figure something might come in handy later so I hold it just encase. I was thinking that I might shift one of my sites to a blog platform so maybe I’ll just shift it here.

I have a website that I sell e-books from and have it set up with 2checkout and actually sometimes I forget about that site until they send me a notice that someone bought something. I like 2checkout it was very simple for me to set up a couple years back and it only cost around 49 bucks or something like that, they take a fee for handling your sales which doesn’t bother me and if I want to use it on another site I can for 16 extra dollars.

Some people do make a lot of money by selling informational products, but I never have. The cost of that domain doesn’t even pay for itself so I might want to consider the switch and Google already dropped me to a zero so other than a deindex for selling the same products as other people and moving the information here that was already indexed there doesn’t seem to matter much at this point even though I know the information and links I have here are still counted in searches.

Since this is Friday and I actually feel better this week than last I think I will push everything to the back of my poor old feeble mind and enjoy it. For the past week I have done very few post and I haven’t dropped many cards so I might as well continue that trend till Monday. I hope everyone has a great, safe and happy weekend….Later

I added the Sezwho plugin, but I’m not sure that I like it and I know I don’t like those boxes popping up so I think I will deactivate it for awhile. I don’t know that I like having all my comments tracked. I didn’t add it through the other social site so I’m not sure what possessed me to add it through Entrecard.

I know I wont start commenting on every post I see on other blogs and don’t expect the same on mine. I’m not concerned with the few extra credits I might receive for leaving a comment. I haven’t even been able to drop much this past week for credits so I’m certainly not concerned with an incentive to comment.

I think it’s a great idea for many to earn a few credits and for those that were concerned with bounce rate and since I’m not I can’t think of any reason to keep it enabled and since someone told me that 2.6 Wordpress upgrade is good when I disable all the widgets I probably will not reactivate that one.

I do have do follow enabled in comments so you will still get a link back if you comment, you just wont get credits from Entrecard for making the effort to leave a relevant one. I am perfectly happy to accept your card drop without a comment and it doesn’t even bother me if none of my posts are read. I take what I can get and happily so, have a great day and keep dropping.

I upgraded my Wordpress and now they have 2.6 ready, but I think I’ll wait awhile for that one. I didn’t have any problems though this time with my upgrade, but the layout is so different and since I have been sick I haven’t been online that much to get used to it. I did try dropping some EC’s, but didn’t get much done. I have been running into a lot of “no such users” so I would imagine that Entrecard is deleting blogs.

When I was dropping I ran into a problem with some of the blogs I normally drop on using Entrecard and I was very surprised that this site had been reported by Google to stopbadware. org as a bad site. I haven’t totally read up on this site yet so I don’t really understand it. I blocked out the blog that they say is bad because I don’t want to point any fingers and because I haven’t read the stopbadware site I’m not sure yet how people can remove themselves because I didn’t check out the form to use.

I know you can report anyone for anything and people are always reporting other blogs to Google for some infraction or another, but for Google to be reporting bad sites I would hope that they have proof of their findings before doing so because that can really damage someones reputation. You can also do a search for specific sites to see if they have warnings against them.

If you click on the blue thumbnail you can read part of what I saw, but I didn’t investigate any further yet. This is my first post since I upgraded and I don’t think I like this new upgrade because when I wanted to add the photos it was so much different than the other and I couldn’t even bring the box up so I could see what I was suppose to be doing, maybe I’ll go back to the other one or I might go ahead and do the 2.6. I need to go lay down for a bit, I hate being sick.
