I hope that everyone had a nice weekend and all of you Fathers got the appreciation that you deserve. We had a great weekend and I haven’t been online since Friday so everything is kind of piled up with e-mail and spam. During the Summer with so much to do I wont be on at all on weekends and probably not as much during the week. So the Internet will play second fiddle to real life. As a rule I normally run through the Akismet spam so I can catch real comments.

However it’s getting so disgusting that I think I will simply start just hitting delete all. I’m not a prude, but some of that stuff is pretty sickening to even read let alone to go view. I hate reading spam about incest and other deviant sex acts. I have to draw the line now because they are bringing cartoons into it. Don’t these disgusting people have anything better to do than pick on The Simpson’s and other beloved cartoon characters?

I have also decided that it really doesn’t matter if people update their blogs or not because that simply leaves less reading to do and so long as they continue to drop on me I really don’t care, but of course I know I have to drop also to keep getting the recip visits. I have been advertising more, but since I was using the lower cost blogs I really haven’t seen many stray clicks which really doesn’t matter either since I’m not really selling anything.

Some days it’s really hard to get back into blogging after taking a few days off and this happens to be one of them. I’m not a die hard blogger or even a real blogger according to some people so I guess I can pretty much do as I please, which I do of course. I realize that it’s not really important if anyone responds to me or not, but it’s always nice when they do and I always really do appreciate when someone takes the time to leave a comment.

I know everyone looks forward to seeing a comment to their posts and has a need to know that people are actually reading what they write. I do read a lot more than I leave  comments, but I am improving. I really don’t like to register on someones site just to leave a comment. It’s so much simpler when it’s open and they just moderate these comments and delete or approve. I am also definitely going to stop joining social groups just because someone invites me because I don’t use them anyhow. Well, I have to catch up on some other stuff, so have a good day.
