Why The Heck Am I Still Blogging
I happened to go over to MyBlogLog and sign in just to see what was going on and I must have turned off alerts at some point because there were like 37 or so people that had added me as a contact and I hadn’t reciprocated because I didn’t know. So I rectified that and hope if one of those were you that you will accept my apology. I’m sure no one really cares though.
I have sort of moved away from marketing, but I don’t like to appear rude when people are nice enough to add me to something even though I don’t see why I might need all those contacts unless it’s for marketing. I keep asking myself what I’m still doing here since the main reason I started blogging was to make money and since I decided I’m no good at marketing and have lost interest in it why the heck am I still blogging? I’m not even a writer.
I haven’t even made any post for Social Sparks to date and it’s been a couple of weeks since I have even felt a desire to take any opps from PPP. I have no desire to throw up a blog full of 5 dollar posts and it’s not because I care if someone will think my blog is a splog because if you mind it doesn’t matter and if you matter then you wont mind, like that old saying goes sort of. I need to get my priorities straightened out and regroup.

I started blogging for the fun of it and then “monetized” my blog, but, like you, I don’t want it to made up mostly of “five dollar posts” either. Social Spark- I have yet to have anything other than problems with them getting a post approved- I’ve about given up on them.

Hi Cindy,
Thanks for the visit. I’m not sure what I think about SS yet. There are many aspects that sound good and probably works for many, but so far not for me. Have a great weekend, it’s raining here.

I have not focused on monetizing my blog. Instead, I’ve written my blog, for years, about topics that matter to me. Some people read it. Some people share ideas. Some people even click through on ads, and I make a little money off of it, but very little, and that doesn’t really matter.
My two cents. (an approximation of what I’ve made blogging).

Hi Aldon,
I appreciate your 2 cents and I have read over some of your posts and you have a lot to say which is definitely worth more than that. I on the other hand am not as diverse and knowledgable as you and if I were able to converse on your level I would surely register and leave comments.

Hi. This is my first visit. I was doing some EC drops and looking all over for your card (I’m sure it’s here somewhere) but that title of this post made me decide say a few words.
I enjoy the diversity of the world we can now find out about because of blogs, from inner city ghetto boys like me, to the many many people in Asia with blogs, to all the housewives. So it’s good.
I also read that because of all the “scraper” sites only abut 30 percent of all blog content is original and the rest is plagiarized. And that doesn’t include all the people who hear a big story then all write about the same thing. So Indy voices are important.
And if money is something you want, stop by my blog and I’ll show you how to make money. It’s not hard to do, just hard to find out how.
Oh, and please consider the “subscribe to comments” plugin. It’s fun when we know what the other people say!

Hi David,
Thanks for stopping by and I’m glad you found my ec card. I too must love it or else I would have stopped. I’ll think about adding the comment plugin, but sometimes plugins don’t work right for me.

Keep blogging girl. It’s nice to have ladies in my age group in the blogosphere. You seem pretty intelligent to me! Comment away! But be prepared to rumble verbally once in a while. I’m not making money either, but I still blog, it keeps me sane!

Hi Sandra,
Thanks for stopping by and commenting and maybe I’m still blogging because of nice people like you that encourage me.
