Hey Carol...I had a Gateway desktop also when I first started 10 years ago and really liked it that's why I'm leaning that way because I know how good they are.</description>

Sounds like the song doesn't it. I just wanted to say that I have A Gateway laptop that I added extra space to. I love it because I can take it anywhere and if I want to print something I just hook it up to my printer. I had a gateway desktop ME which finally died on me. It lasted for 8 years which is pretty good.

		<description>Ironically, after suggesting that you reinstall windows, I found that I needed to reinstall my own operating system! There's nothing like a fresh install, but restoring an early system checkpoint is probably the next best thing.

This time around, I am installing all of my software on my secondary hard drive (mine's internal). This way, if I ever need to reinstall again, most of my software and other data will still be on the other drive. 

The nice thing is that windows XP is much,much more stable than my previous operating system- I had to reinstall windows 98 about every six months!</description>
