I want an external drive, too. I've been taking a lot of digital pictures lately and my 120gig HD is almost full. It has 5Gig left... ugh. I really gotta back things up. Hope today has been better for you. BTW - I reformatted the HD of my laptop a couple of months ago and I am sooooooooo much happier now that I finally did it!
