I too am not overly fond of the overly complicated interface they are using with SocialSpark. EC is great for RR until they change RR to account for bounce rate which i’m sure they’ll do eventually. If they did that it would be a drastic change in the rankings since it would only be counting real readership. Of course, realrank doesn’t account for RSS subscribers either I guess.

The first few days I went through and added everyone who joined Social Spark and I gave everyone and their blogs a prop. I have about 726 friend, 1345 profile views and guess how many props, 83. So, you do the math.

A lower bounce rate brings higher paying advertisers and with adsense, if your bounce rate is too high, they cancel your account for “invalid activity”…

lol Michael that’s just my weird sense of humor it doesn’t bother me at all that I don’t have a gazillion friends on SS that’s why I never ask anyone to be my friend. The point of trying to rack up as many friends and props is to make your profile look more attractive to advertisers so they will think you can deliver lots of traffic so you can demand a higher price if they want you to do an opportunity for them or at least that’s my take on it. Personally I really appreciate Entrecard, but I don’t make money with them however they do help my real rank so I can make a couple dollars with PPP.

I don’t see the fuzz/reason what friends on SocialSpark can do.. I mean, you can be friends, and then what? That won’t have an effect on anything, will it?

As with EC, I gain a lot of loyal readers and friends on the community it rocks!

Thanks for commenting and I’m having concerns myself with the new program. Everyone was expecting manna from Heaven and I’ll leave that one right there. I really like Entrecard and totally agree that it’s great for RR.

I’d be your friend on SS but I don’t know how to link to my own profile! LOL… I guess I should find out. I am not liking SS layout at all.

I also don’t care much about my bounce rate, I still think EC helps our blogs. And sometimes someone, like me, comments! I been cruising EC today.
