Last week I had so much trouble with my blogs as you know, if you stop by often and some of you do just because you have known me for years and you just like to see what I’ve been up to. I really appreciate your support and I’m always happy to hear from you. I’m going to try adding some more graphics and things of interest soon. I know you suggested a few contest and different things and I will try to do something along those lines.
I changed templates at my beauty blog also last week because I had been using a make shift one and when I upgraded everything blew up and after getting all of that sorted I found a 2 column that looked decent so I used that. I did notice that the footer was scrambled or encoded, so I had no idea what was there and I wasn’t sure where to put my codes for counting visitors so I put it in the index template.
Well, needless to say since some of the visitors were showing up, I simply thought I was being deindexed and got a little upset because I have a lot of good content there for Cosmetologist or people thinking about going into that field. I had always gotten a lot of traffic from Google even though they took my page rank, but nothing was showing up from Google search.
Last night I started to check the time when my traffic started going away and it coincided with the template change. So last night I worked on 2 separate templates and guess what? The one I have on now works great and I am so happy to see all of those Google searches back, well actually they never left, but I didn’t know that because they weren’t being registered. So now I’m happy again and not stressing.
