TrafficJam For Targeted Traffic

I use BlogRush as many others do and I thought it was great when they manually went through and evaluated every blog in their system and got rid of all the spam blogs. I haven’t had any trouble with the widget and even though I don’t get tons of traffic right now I at least know the potential is there because I have received some. I just need to make the headline more exciting so more people will be intrigued and click.

BlogRush now has a new program called TrafficJam and it uses BlogRush as it’s source. If your tired of surfing the web for new information to type about on your blog then you can visit the new TrafficJam and below is a list of all the categories that you can check for information and new blogs that you might never have found before and believe me there is something for everyone. They take all the top posts from BlogRush and conveniently list them so it’s easy to find what you need at a glance.

Categories:

Art & Design, Automotive, Beauty & Fashion, Business, Career & Jobs, Celebrity,
Computers & Internet, Education,Entertainment, Environment, Finance & Investing, Food & Drink, Health & Wellness, History, Hobbies & Crafts, Home & Garden, Law & Legal, Lifestyle, Music, News & Media, Outdoor Recreation, Parenting & Family,
Personal Development, Personal, Pets, Philosophy, Photography, Politics, Real Estate, Religion & Spirituality, Shopping, Sports, Technology, Travel & Vacations, Writing & Literature and Video Games.

In order to get your post to show up there you have to be a free member of BlogRush. I found their new site very simple to navigate and I like simple. You’ll be very surprised at all the great information you’ll find that is selected as the top posts from how many people have clicked through from the widgets on other peoples blogs and how long their visits last. This is a great idea, try TrafficJam.com and see what you think.

PPP 1K Tuesday/It’s Just A Matter Of Luck

I took yesterday off because Bill was home so I didn’t do any work on the computer.Tuesday I was on and off, but I actually got very little work done so that was another post less day. I was busy doing other things, but I was excited to check the PayPerPost site when I had a free moment because they started up the 1K Tuesdays again.

1K Tuesday is when they drop 10- $50 opportunities and 1- $500 opportunity now this can be fun and it’s exciting because no one knows when they might drop. However there is a big problem with their server on this day and everything actually slows down to a crawl. I usually always see these opps as gray and that means someone has already reserved it and your just out of luck.

If you have nothing else to do and can refresh every second for 24 hours then more or less your not going to be one of the lucky ones and with over 100,000 or maybe it’s 200,000 by now what are the odds because it’s open to ALL of the registered posties from everywhere and with so many refreshing it’s no wonder that site is so slow.

Every time I checked I would see the 50 dollar opps already reserved so I simply quit checking and besides we got a visit from the grandkids for a couple hours so I was happily distracted. After they left I told Bill I was going to my office for a couple of minutes to check again and when I refreshed guess what I saw, you got it, it was the 500 dollar opp and it was white, so I clicked on it. ppp.gif

White means it’s available to you, gray means it’s reserved, green means it’s a featured opp available to you and pink means your not eligible. I quickly hit the reserve button and typed in the captcha and held my breath and since the server was so slow it seemed like forever and of course till it finally rolled over I saw that dreaded red line that said :
500.gif

I would prefer to see that opp as gray instead of going through the whole process to only see the above red line, but it did serve to get my adrenaline pumping. I know many people regard those of us that make money by advertising in this way as splog blogs, but I disagree I don’t consider my blog as spam and it really doesn’t matter what Google thinks either.
