Do We Need Another Foum For PayPerPost Posties?
Forums are a good way to find out all kinds of information, I belong to several, but I can’t say I am a huge contributer unless someone asks something that I have experience with. All forums have their own little clique’s which is fine, some more so than others though. I have found it’s better for myself and peace of mind to not get involved in forum politics and arguments.
It is however a good way to make contacts and get support and all marketers use this social form for their various businesses. The warrior forum is a great place to find out about marketing and different techniques that are working on the Internet and you can usually get some good deals on software from other warriors and create alliances for your business.
You can find a forum for anything that concerns you, everyone is starting a forum now a days, but the only problem is getting enough people to participate. I belong to the payperpost forum, but I haven’t posted there since before Christmas because it dampens my spirits to have people correct everything that you contribute, so I simply don’t do it any more.
I must say the majority of posters there are very nice and helpful, but some are just rude and try to make you feel stupid when they think they are being helpful. They also have a habit of locking down threads that could be potentially helpful to someone else.
So one of the posters decided to start a new forum called Posties Don’t Operate Today Under Silence and if you are interested it can be found at (http://posties.us). I haven’t joined yet, but I’m thinking it might be a more relaxed style for me. If you don’t do PPP then you would probably not have use of this forum.
I think it’s a good idea to have a platform where people aren’t afraid and can say what they really feel without someone jumping down their throat and being a bully just because they have been there longer. That’s why many simply don’t bother to involve themselves at the other forum and remain silent.
This new forum isn’t for bashing PPP it’s simply meant to allow freedom of thought and speech by everyone with out having your thread locked down. I think I just talked myself into going over and registering, maybe I will get more involved at this one, type at you tomorrow.

Hi Judy,
I’m sorry that you feel suppressed on the PPP boards. This has been an item that has moved up my priority list, quickly.
The intentions of our boards is to provide a forum for our customers to freely express there opinions (within reason, of course). It is not our intent to restrict the free flow of conversation, unless the tone becomes insulting or attacking, or the content is inappropriate. However, I have received enough negative feedback regarding our boards that it has become a priority for me. We will get it back to its intended nature.
Thank you for your patience.

Hello Gordon,
Thank-you very much for your comment and I believe your intentions are good. I am also sorry that I feel suppressed at PPP boards, but I know I’m not the only one that feels intimidated at times.
Like I said in the post most of those people are very nice and helpful, but a few for whatever reason are not so nice and maybe they don’t even realize it, but I do have a problem joining in at this point.

There are many that feel suppressed at the PPP forums and for exactly the reasons that have been mentioned here.

Hello Breezie,
Thank you for stopping by and yes I do know many people that have never even registered at the forum because of so many people that have all the answers and what ever you say doesn’t matter so they don’t see why they should bother, so they don’t!
I have tried dropping in a few comments here and there recently and no one has been mean to me so maybe I will try a couple more. I think the other forum is okay and I even joined and left a comment, but I can’t say I will be very active and for that I am Sorry..
