Is Google Done With Devaluing?
I finally noticed some changes on some of my sites as far as pr goes and have also heard about many people losing even more pr, but others have reported some good news. I unfortunately am not among the latter group which really doesn’t matter so long as I still show up in the serps and I get some traffic. Making money with this blog at this time is no longer an option of course because it was devalued by Google, but I’ll be fine.
It’s nice to know that I can choose to do whatever I want without worrying about where I stack up, because now I know. The way things are going now it seems eventually everyone will be in the same boat and all sites will be devalued, who knows what Google will disallow next? I am holding out hope for SocialSpark, which hasn’t been launched yet. I have never been a purist about anything, which a lot of the blogging world professes to be. I started blogging to make money and that’s what I’ll do some day.
I am just an average person with average things to say. I always wanted to be brilliant, but realized a long time ago that it would never be. Sometimes dreams die hard. Even though I am not intelligent, I always had intelligent friends and could never really understand why they would want to be my friend. I often thought by being around them some of their intelligence would rub off on me.
However I did realize that I usually have good common sense and I think that makes up for a lot. I was always a better listener than a speaker. I always seemed to freeze if I had to speak in public, I could usually put my ideas down on paper, but when speaking I could not put 2 sentences together. What is that old saying about better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool, than to open it and have it assured?
Well that’s what I normally try to do in real time. I listen and nod my head and empathize and throw in a comment here and there and they think I’m brilliant for agreeing with them even if I’m not. Really intelligent people simply love talking about their ideas so people like me aren’t really required to make a response. Only problem is I seldom agree with anything they say and they never even notice or care. Reminds me of Google.
Oh well enough of that, just dropped by to drop in a quick post.
