Will Social Spark Be A Success?
Many people that did work and earned good money working for PayPerPost.com have been very disillusioned since the Google smack and are anxiously awaiting Izea.com’s new SocialSpark program where the advertisers and bloggers can unite on a one to one basis. Many bloggers quit PPP and removed all traces of paid advertising from their blogs and begged for Google’s forgiveness.
The new program will use real rank as opposed to page rank. Real rank actually shows how many visitors you receive a day instead of what Google says your rank is. Some people have good pr and don’t even have visitors so real rank should be idea for serious advertisers that want real visitors instead of buying someones pr for seo purposes.
I seriously never considered anyone was buying my pr because it was only a measly 3, but the higher your pr the higher paying opps you could do so I did realize that was happening. I think Google should have been able to ignore those paid links without resorting to knocking so many blogs down. I have since added nofollow to all paid links on this blog.
With the new program in sight at the end of Jan. nofollow will be allowed when making an advertising post so hopefully that will appease Google, but I somehow think something else will come up that Google will not like. I think they should remove all paid advertising from their own search engine so it will be more effective for people using their search resources.
I think Google has a lot of good free programs and I still use them myself. I don’t hate Google, but I do feel that they have earned the disrespect that so many bloggers feel for them right now, myself included. I think it’s useless to try and boycott them because they are so huge and it’s their company after all so they can do as they please, but I do think the government should step in and put some limits on them.
I hope this year we will seeĀ better ways to earn a living on the Internet. So many start up programs fail with in the first 2 years I sincerely hope SocialSpark will not be among the ever growing list. I think the people behind this program are very clever so I have high hopes that this will be a success story. I still intend to use their program because I like to make money.
