Just Another Google Post

I heard that Google stock is dropping and I really don’t wonder why. I think if I owned any I would unload it now before prices really go down, but I really don’t understand all the rise and falls even though I have been trying to understand the stock market a little better. Many people are also taking adsense off their sites and turning to yahoo or other forms of ads. You think this will cause them to regroup? Maybe, maybe not.

Many people have been very upset with Google this past month and the latest pr devaluing has left many with their chin hitting the floor. Maybe this is just the beginning of a re-evaluation or who knows maybe they will choose to take their pr underground and keep it to themselves. I use a lot of Google tools which I really like, such as analytics and feed burner, but I have to admit I recently deleted my sites from Google tools. I don’t really care if they ever crawl my sites again.

It is after all only Google’s opinion, I am quite capable of forming my own opinions. Can’t say that I have always made the right choices in my life, but at least they have been mine to make. Google has managed to make people believe that a great page rank was the most important aspect if your doing anything online and it has made many people do crazy things so they could see more green and not just in the tool bar.

For many that earn money with advertising this has been a major blow, but with the new social spark program that payperpost will be launching it will show real page rank as opposed to the toolbar rank and will show advertisers how much traffic a site really generates so instead of people focusing so much on getting a rank from Google our bigger concern right now is getting more traffic.

I myself haven’t as yet found any really effective ways of generating a huge stream of traffic, but hopefully it will grow over time. Getting more involved with the social communities would be a good solution, but I don’t always have the time or inclination. I am always amazed at how well some people are able to combine everything and keep their finger in everything that comes along.

I know many people outsource a lot of their workload which I don’t. Some people are very good with the barter system and just seem to know how to get what they need by exchanging something they may have for something they may need, which seems to help everyone without exchanging money. This is a month we celebrate Thanksgiving and I always have many things to be thankful for. At any rate I wish good Karma for everyone.
