Boy Impales Himself Sneaking Into The Fair

Yesterday evening a young man 24, while it was still light attempted to sneak over the fence and avoid the $5 admittance fee. He landed on a piece of the metal fencing and it impaled his leg. They had to cut the fence away leaving the piece in his leg so they could remove it under sanitary conditions and treat him.

This young man had tickets for last nights concert in his pocket which cost around 30 or 40 dollars and trying to save $5 he has ended up messing up his leg, which could have killed him if it had hit a vital artery or organ, missed his $40 concert and will now have to pay thousands in hospital fees and maybe other fines if charges are pressed against him.

Now tell me this, why don’t we humans think before we act so impulsively. Are we just living in the moment, which is a good thing because the moment is the only place we can live, but considering all things we have to remember the ripple affect and how one small act can affect so many people and things. Hopefully this young man has learned a valuable lesson from this and not just the one about looking before you leap.
