You can start a business online with very little money, but to make it work you will need to invest effort and time and if you can’t do that then I doubt your online business will make it. When you first start a business it will require dedication and purpose of mind. You will work very hard keeping everything together. You need to think of your online business as a real job.

Make sure you have your home office well organized and it’s a peaceful place to work without a lot of distractions. Try to stay focused and finish one thing at a time. It’s very hard to have several projects going at the same time, you will burn out quick. I usually try to do my least favorite first, then the rest is smooth sailing.

There are many good free resources to work with, but the most important thing to do is deciding on a domain name and aquiring paid hosting. Never use the free sites for hosting, you want control of what people will see on your site or blog if that is the platform of choice. I wish I had started with blogging over a website because they seem to have better page rank and traffic and search engines love them and index them quicker.

Make sure your starting your business about something you like and enjoy, then it is more of a pleasure than a chore. I should have started my beauty blog before this one because I enjoy blogging about the things I learned in school and it’s easier because I am more knowledgeable. Where as marketing online has been a learning experience every step of the way, but I love to learn so that’s at least a good thing.

People need to see results so they can keep themselves motivated. I know when I made my first commission and sold my first ebook I was so excited. You will probably have small successes in the beginning and if you don’t, try not to get disillusioned and throw in the towel. Give it time to work before giving up, but don’t go into debt and jeopardize your families welfare.

So what if you have to go back to work for awhile you can always work your internet business part time until it catches on. Then you can totally quit that nine to five. So many people want the freedom to work from home and I have been very lucky myself because I have a supporting mate in every way you can imagine. He totally believes in me and I hope that is something you have in your life.

Usually people aren’t supportive until you show them the money, then they get all excited and decide maybe you know what your doing after all and then they will stand behind you and cheer you on. Oh well that’s human nature after all.
