Has There Been A Google Update ?

I have yet to see any changes in my sites from Google’s update. I guess that could be a good thing since all my pages from some of my sites seem to be in the supplementals, but the rank hasn’t gone up or down. According to some reports I have seen that doesn’t mean the pages are being penalized, but they just don’t have enough linking to count for anything.

I am not so sure I agree with this view and would like to know more. I have run a few searches, but can’t seem to find any updates as yet. Has anyone seen a change in their sites ranking yet or am I in the wrong month? I am not a SEO expert and I never seem to find the answers I am seeking anymore. I do read Matt Cutts and a few others, but maybe I am looking in the wrong places.

If anyone has more information on this subject or knows where I can find it I would appreciate all comments or recommendations on where to seek the answers I am looking for. Even though I had thought about removing my Google tool bar so I wouldn’t care about page ranks I can’t seem to do it yet.

This is my first pagerank update since launching my blog and I still have “No PageRank information available”, so I gather it hasn’t been done yet. Google Sitemaps is showing me July now, but says “Data is not available at this time”.

I’ve seen competitions trying to guess the date it would be completed – some people were saying late July, some early August, so I guess there is no way of knowing the exact date. We just have to be patient…

Hi Jude,

The update seems to have happened, at least in part. Google Sitemaps can’t show me any information yet, but toolbars are reporting that my site has a PageRank of 0 (which was expected). I guess I’ve got three months of hard work to get it bumped up!
