When it comes to marketing, one of the best marketed products has to be the Chia Pets. They come in every shape you can possibly imagine. Kids love them and learn to take care of something and watch it grow and it makes them feel great.
I had my own chia pet, actually two, but I killed one. I knocked it out of the window and it got ran over. I tried to plant it, but it was not quite the same as having my sheep looking all woolly and sweet.
I actually worked with someone that we called chia because he honestly did look like a chia pet of course he had no idea why we called him chia, but he liked the name because we always smiled at him when we called him to help us. He was lovable like a chia and we weren’t trying to be mean it was just the way his hair grew and we all loved our chia pets. I couldn’t resist doing this one for my sponsor because I have a soft spot for the little critters that grow plant hair.
