Is Your Site W3C Compliant

I know that sites that are W3C compliant are seen as higher quality sites by many of the major search engines and probably get better ranking also, but I can’t for the life of me get this blog W3C validated. I have however brought it down to 15 error’s instead of 30.

I know some of them are in the template itself, but I’m not knowledgeable enough to change it. Short of removing everything on this blog, I think I will let it stand as is until I can figure out a better solution.

One small update: I managed to get it down to 6 and those aren’t in the template, they are caused by the invisible tracking code I have to use in a sponsored post.

I have removed the paid directory I had on here from Blogsvertise because I do not want to be penalized by Google. I have also closed that account because they really do not have any opportunities that fit with my blog and the same goes for Blogitive. So in future when I display any sponsored ad’s they will be from PayPerPost.

I will continue the paid posts regardless of warnings about paid links. I do have a disclosure and I don’t do that many anyhow.

On a different note I hope all Fathers had a great day yesterday. I know Bill appreciated the apron he got from the grandkids with the hand print of all 3 on it. It is well known to everyone that Bill is the chef in this house. About the only thing he will allow me to cook are Beans and that is only because I have the time and he doesn’t. We are from the South and Bill loves his beans.
