Affirmation In Your Life
Happiness is only a thought away. How powerful are your thoughts? In my humble opinion they are everything. Your mind is very powerful. It is estimated that people use between 5 to 10 % of their brainpower. I find that fascinating. Can you imagine the power if we knew how to use 100%?
Â
Do you use affirmation and visualization in your life? It works for me, not always when I think it should happen, but it always happens at sometime in my life. Usually whatever I have thought about and concentrated on has always transpired. Affirmation is a simple thing that can make a big difference in your life.
Â
Do you live in the now, the present, this minute or are you stuck in the past? As far as I can see there is only now this minute. Affirmation should be stated in the present tense to be effective. An affirmation of “I am now a happy being†is more effective than saying, “I am going to become a happy being.†Affirmation should always be in positive terms because it is supposed to work for you and not against you. Instead of saying, “I am not sad,†try saying, “I am happy.â€Â Â
Â
An affirmation should be made up of simple words, and it should be short so it will be effective. A short affirmation can be spoken and repeated easily by a person. You can use it like a mantra and it can be repeated over and over. Try it and see what happens, you will be pleasantly surprised.
Â
To be effective, an affirmation must be repeated. Repetition works and influences the subconscious, which in turn motivates the person into acting out his affirmation. A person who creates the affirmation should be deeply involved with the words he will be using, so he will be able to actualize his affirmation. Write down the words that you will be repeating to yourself. This can be very powerful.Â
