Have you noticed lately that more and more of your website is disappearing into Google’s supplemental Index? Have your sites pr rank gone down? Several of my site’s ranking dropped a notch which of course doesn’t make me very happy, but I have noticed this has happened with better sites than my own that actually hire SEO firms.
Now I know I’m not the best at SEO, but I have seen some really crappy sites with more of their crap indexed than mine and their pages do not even make sense. Google totally mystifies me and as I have seen lately apparently some of the longer standing marketers do not know what is going on either. It seems everyone has an opinion and of course no one seems to have the right answers.
If you would like to check and see how many of your pages are in the supplemental index then use this in Google search of course  site:www.yourwebsite.com *** -view  and just put in the name of your website.
I think Google has a lot of great services and I enjoy using a lot of their great free tools. I know they are trying to get rid of duplicate content and make it easier to get relevant searches, but is that really happening?
