If your new to marketing, I’m sure you do not yet know everything that will be involved. Depending on the niche or choice   of marketing you are trying to decide on, there will be several things you will have to learn about. You may or may not have a website already.

Free sites aren’t good, they do not allow much bandwidth and people that you are trying to sell to will not be impressed. You need a domain name and then you will have to learn to use an auto responder, post articles, join forums, learn to use banners and post classified ads. You will learn about blogging for profit and press releases and the list just goes on and on.

You will be bombarded from all sides and may think it’s just not worth all the hassle. The competition is fierce regardless of what niche or area you go into. Choose some area that you know about and truly love. Try to finish one project at a time instead of spreading yourself thin and doing 5 things at a time. You will burn out quick and give up.

Maybe you have a large budget to work with and maybe you don’t. Most people lose alot of money before they start earning unless they are extremely blessed. Do not believe anyone that tells you “You can be rich in 30 days”. That’s crap !

There are so many free resources make the most of them. Marketers will give you products just to get your name and e-mail so they can send you 50 tons of junk mail trying to sell you 50 tons of junk. I just deleted myself from alot of lists I have been on for 2 years
because it’s all the same and it does waste alot of my time trying to get rid of the duplicate crap from all of them.

Don’t get me wrong, there are alot of great marketers out there that want you to succeed, but it still comes down to the bottom line of selling something to someone and they are hoping we will at some point be that someone.

Just take your time and don’t expect miracles over night. Remember Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither will your bank account be, regardless of what anyone tells you.
