Hi Charla,
Civilians can not buy beauty products in a real beauty supply store, you have to have a license. Regular people can buy in places like Sally's which sells beauty products, but is looked down on by "Real Cosmetologist". I think that is so high brow and snobbish. You can actually buy the product I mentioned in Rite Aide and I love that product.

Jude,
Thanks for the info. :) I assume I would need to go to a beauty supply store to get the hair serum. I will put that on my list of things to do this week!

Hi Charla,
I have frizzy hair also and the best thing I have used is Frizz-Ease hair serum by John Frieda. I really can recommend that product for the dreaded frizzies and it's not expensive. It doesn't take much and a small bottle will last awhile and it's so easy to get a comb through.

I don't always wear my helmet when we go for a bike ride and you know how tangled the wind makes your hair? My comb just glides right through any knots and it doesn't make your hair feel oily or look flat. Hope that helps...Jude

Jude,
I have a question. I always roll my shoulder length hair on electric rollers before my hair is 100% dry to take the friz out of the ends of my hair. My hair has a little bit of wave to it which is evident on humid days and when I just barely use the hair dryer. My question is this: is there a product I could use on the ends and maybe kinda scrunch the ends so that I wouldn't have to use rollers every time I wash my hair?

Hello Keata,
Are you in school now? You didn't specify the state your in? You can find advertisements for apprenticeships through beauty schools, newspapers, online classifieds, I just saw one on craigslist or you can take your phone book and go through the list of salons and call them and ask if they accept apprentices or have an apprenticeship program.Have you applied to the state boards for your permit already? Here's the page if you live in Pa that will tell you what you need to know to get your license permit and of course the cosmetology shop must have a teachers license. If you need more help I need more specifics...Thanks,
