This blog was never intended to be an expert on cosmetology state board site information. If you need up to date information on any state’s laws rules and regulations please visit that site. I can’t keep up with all of the comments left looking for reciprocity information. I live in PA and sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all the changes here.
I do try to give information on different things that might help you find the answers you’re looking for, but I wont guarantee any information provided on any of these pages. When I started this blog it was intended just for students or other people that might wonder what it was like to go to beauty school and what could be expected.
Since I started this blog it has evolved into other areas of beauty and life and the way we look at things. This is a personal blog and not a professional one. I don’t give advice about fashion or what’s in I do however try to give insights about going to beauty school and other things in life that I know and things about life that effects me and maybe you.
Again I am telling you that this is not an expert blog concerning reciprocity. I have to look up the answers to your questions and I simply don’t always have the time to do the research for you. You can so easily ask the administrator of your school or contact the state in which you are interested in for any information you need or God forbid do the research yourself.

Most bloggers aren’t “experts” they simply have an interest…
however, I just had to say, I love your doggie pic! What kind of dog is that? It looks like either a white husky or an American Somoa.
beautiful nonetheless.
Hi Lala,
I am a licensed cosmetologist, but I’m not an expert on every state’s laws concerning reciprocity, but I get so many comments from cosmetologist’s seeking help and I have provided much, but people simply don’t want to sift through anything so they ask me the same questions over and over and I simply don’t have the time to research all the states.
My dog is an Eskie and he is going on 11 now, but I loved that photo of him as a young guy and I now call him my good old guy back then he had a mind of his own and very stubborn.
LOL…Yes, I had Huskies (one was a Husky/Wolf hybrid) and they are certainly a stubborn breed, so I certainly understand.
