As you can see from the photo above I have one of the older Dymo label makers and I’ve had it for years and it still works great, but after looking at the newer ones that they make I think it’s time for an upgrade because I label everything from mail boxes and containers to file folders in my office because it helps keep me organised I can find things much quicker.
When I was in beauty school I made sure to label all of my belongings not because I didn’t trust anyone, but it avoided mix ups when everyone used the same type of tools. Dymo of course make better models now than my old one and you can find some great tips and uses for yours by visiting their site. Your kids will have fun making labels and learn to be organised just like you.
Since the grandkids are in 1st grade for Nate and nursery school for the girls everything has to be labeled. Nate’s pretty good at taking care of his belongings, but they still like to have everything labeled because it makes it so much easier to keep track of and the kids like to help make their labels, but Jodie and Billy have a newer type like the ones below and they aren’t expensive.
I still use mine to label the toys we keep at the house so they know what belongs to whom when they come over so we use a different color tape with their name on their special toys and it saves on a lot of squabbles.
