I'm so thankful, too, for my relationship with God who is my "Abba Father" as it says in the Bible, a Hebrew word that means pretty much the same thing as "Daddy." That's the kind of relationship we have. I'm so thankful for His Son, Jesus, who is not only my Savior but also my best and dearest friend who understands what we go through here on earth. I'm so thankful for my husband, our children and grandbaby. They are so dear to me. We have so many blessings to be thankful for. I'm also thankful for my church family because we're there for each other in good times and bad. They really helped me so much when each of my parents died. They helped us celebrate when our daughter got married and then again when she and her husband had a baby. I love my small Women's Bible Study group so much. Those ladies are like my sisters, and are my sisters in Christ. I'm really sorry you've had a bad experience with church!
