It’s a beautiful day outside and when the sun is shining it always gives me an optimistic feeling about life and creation and everything feels good. We get so wrapped up in the daily grind that we sometimes forget to be grateful for all the good things that are around us. You start to remember and think about what is really important in this life and by simply taking 30 minutes for yourself and being grateful your day will be much brighter.
On days like this I like to sit on the porch and feel the sun and watch all the little creatures and nature around me and count my blessings. I mentally go over all the good things in my life and thank God for each one. It doesn’t matter that my neighbor just got a brand new car or new furniture or that new water feature that I had been secretly coveting. I have Bill, Grandchildren, my pets and Love everything else takes a back seat.
My hormone imbalance doesn’t keep me from appreciating what’s important in my life. Even though at times menopause causes stress for me on days like today with the sun shining so bright I realize how blessed I really am. So now I am going to go bless my yard and make it beautiful with a nice trim and prune the weeds out of my front planter. Go out and enjoy nature for a bit and get some sun and appreciate life and living.

Oh your blog is beautiful. I simply adore the little white puppy!!:-)

What a great post. It’s good to have that attitude of gratitude! Nice dog picture too!
