Alrighty then, we all got through Valentine’s day I knew it was going to be difficult for many so I decided to wait till today to wish everyone a Happy After Valentine’s Day. This is not just a day for lovers, but also for best friends and I love my friends dearly and I know you do too.
Bill and I had a very special day yesterday and we also watched Miss Oprah and I even shed a tear when the guy that was suppose to be singing a song to his wife, but shared a duet with Patti LaBelle, did you notice how he totally forgot his Valentine wife and concentrated on his Idol?
It was very cool though and the man missed not one beat, Bill said that had to be rehearsed, but I don’t believe it for a minute. Many people get engaged on the 14th of February and that is so romantic and I love romance, however my most romantic time is in June and that was when Bill and I really made our commitment.
I had to go to the Carolinas because I had a previous commitment and Bill wasn’t very happy because we had just got together, but I can honestly say that was the longest day in my life. It took me 6 hours or so to get there and after I was there for a few hours I decided to turn around and come right back. It was a horrible time to be away from someone you had just found and realized you loved.
I’m not going into all of the details, but he was so happy to see me back, but not as happy as I was to be back. I took all of my things upstairs and when I came down Anne Murray was playing and we danced to “Could I have This Dance” and the lyrics were so perfect and to think he picked it made me bawl like a baby and the necklace he gave me was perfect and this has been our song ever since.
