Hello… I am planning to move to Missouri and I currently have my license in New York…I have had my license for a lil over 2 years now and have worked in a salon the entire time. Even though NY has fewer hours then MO…will my 2 years exp. count for those extra hours so i dont have to retake the exam in MO?
Hi Kristen,
I would say yes, but you should contact them either by phone or e-mail and find out everything you need to do as far as getting your working hours notarized and if they have a special form that you need. Of course the different states make changes all the time so it’s always best to check the state board site for any revised rules and regulations.
