Finding Self Truths And Enjoying Life

I have spent much of my life on a spiritual quest, searching for complete inner peace. There are so many beliefs and religions in the world, do you just follow what your friends and family recommend or do you do your own research and check them out for yourself, you’ll never find your truths unless you do. I have to admit that I’m not a big fan of organized religion and I have always had my own ideas about spirituality.

As a rule I usually don’t discuss religion, but I will discuss how I feel about life and living and how everyone should and could be happy if we just knew how to release the power of the mind and let it work. There are so many good things that everyone deserves and when something feels right and truthful for me I try to embrace the ideas and see if they work for me.

I found A Course In Miracles many years ago or rather it found me and I try to read and understand as many of the principles as possible, but I still don’t have a total grip, but it makes more sense to me than some other sources that I have read. I also believe in the concepts of the Buddha and the Essenes of Arkashea which you can read online at arkashea.org if your interested. I purchased a book long ago that answered a lot of questions for me.

I take many ideas and thoughts from many places and add them together for myself and try to make it personalized for me and that seems to work. I know I have been happier in the past 5 years than ever in my life except for menopause that gets me down sometimes, but hopefully that will be over soon.

I have the past year gone through my mind and tried to honestly lighten my heart by forgiving anyone that I ever thought wronged me and especially myself for many wrongs that I feel I may have done and believe it or not it does help when you let things go and realize that there is only the here and now and each day is a blessing and a chance to begin again by not holding on to what isn’t there.
