		<description>Hi Melissa,
If you have passed a written and practical national examination, then you will only be required to pass an Arkansas state law
exam.
If you have not passed a written and practical national examination, then you will be required to pass the written, practical and
state law exams administered in Arkansas.

An applicant must complete the following process to be eligible for an Arkansas license through reciprocity:
1. Contact the State Board in which you are currently licensed and request that they send your license certification to the Arkansas State Board of Cosmetology,101 EAST CAPITOL, SUITE 108
LITTLE ROCK, AR 72201
(501) 682-2168
2. Complete the Reciprocity Form you will find from the link below or the form link from the post above and submit it to their office, along with the following:
a. A copy of your current out-of-state license;
b. A copy of your social security card;
c. A 2 x 2 colored head and shoulder photograph;
d. A copy of your driver’s license or other government issued photo-identification license;
e. A check or money order for the $50 reciprocity fee.

To read everything required by Arkansas for &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.arkansas.gov/cos/reciprocity.html&quot;&gt;reciprocity&lt;/a&gt; follow the links on that page for everything you need to know they are in the process of updating due to recent changes in the law.</description>
