Vinni Asked : I am not in to cosmetology schools, I don’t have a degree from cosmetology school but I live in Georgia, my friend is a master cosmetologist, she told me that if I work under her for 1500 hr, I will be able to be a cosmetologist and take state board exams to get a license is it true?
Answer : Actually you would be working as an apprentice and you would have to apply for a license to be an apprentice and it is for 3000 hours not 1500. You can read more about apprentice requirements, but read it carefully and have your friend read it also…Good-luck
