I failed my theory exam and now i have to retake it. but they are not letting me retake it since my eligibility expired 1-6-2012. I called State of MI and they looked through my files and they told me if i passed my practical before my expiration date, i have a whole year to take my theory and pass it. I feel like the $5000 I spent on training is a complete waste of time money and government resources when I see some of the ignorant that actually work in the field and the work that comes out of some of the salons. I also just learned that it is possible to be handed free points on the exam if the state sees fit. It is not about safety and credentials. It is about money and preferential treatment.
