i am having a really hard time trying to transfer my license from florida to mississippi. state board told me to get my license in another state that they share reciprocity with. finding that special state has been difficult to find. if anyone knows or has any informaiton on what states accept a florida license and will transfer over to mississippi that would be great!

In fact I’m moving to NJ as soon as I’m done this week, is there anyway I can take the boards up there without having to go back to school seeing as I already possess 300 more hours than required in NJ? Would I just be able to take my exam in NJ?

I won’t be able to take my state board exam until June/july. But I’m considering moving to west virginia in Sept. Which I see is 1800 hrs of schooling. Now by the time I move I should be receiving my license through ny.. So my question is.. Once I get my license I have to take my state board exam all over again? I also researched that I would have to work 300 hours for the year to make up the hours (the difference between nys & wv -800hrs) until I can be licensed? Am I confused or I’m miss reading it? Id have to work under my temp license till I’m caught up? I’m sorry if I’m confused but I want to make sure I’m reading this right (which I’m sure I’m wrong!) help!! :)
