A Positive Attitude Is Very Appealing

What thoughts fill your head, listen to them right now and tell me if they are negative or positive in nature. Do you think someone that first meets you would be able to tell what’s on your mind? You can choose what you think and people will be able to sense how you are feeling by your stance and the way you react to a greeting. Usually people can also tell by the way you speak.

When you go to a party filled with all your friends, does everyone gather around you excited or do they just try to sidestep you because you look gloomy and sad? Negative thoughts can turn a festive gathering into a funeral wake.

The attitude and thoughts you carry around inside will affect your general attitude, your thoughts are very powerful and it can affect the way you appear to others, not just personality, but your actual appearance.

Your attitude depends on you, people love to be around positive people because it makes them feel invigorated and energized by this type of attitude. No one likes to be around negativism, it’s too depressing and saps another persons energy as well as your own.

People do try to avoid a person with a negative attitude, I know I do, I don’t want to feel down and sad, I want to be around a positive energy flow and feel up.The way you view the world will show what type of attitude you have. If you tend to focus on all the negative aspects in the world instead of the positive then you have a negative attitude brewing. However, if you choose to focus on the positive things and enforce the positive, you are more likely to carry a positive attitude and life will be more kind to you.

You have much more to gain from a positive attitude. Studies show that a positive attitude promotes better health, more friends, and helps you handle stress and problems better. A positive attitude begins with a healthy self-image. If you can learn to love the way you are and work on being self-assured, confident, and satisfied with you, you will also make others around you feel the same way. A negative attitude, on the other hand, has, the opposite effect. If you feel bad about yourself, then you make others feel the same way.

In a world where the media feeds us nothing, but negative thoughts it’s kind of hard to keep healthy thoughts to develop that positive attitude and It has been reported that out of 14 things that a parent may say to their children only one is something positive. What a sad place to live, so much negativity.

Thinking happier thoughts will produce a healthier outlook for your life, You have to hear positive things also. Go see a funny movie and laugh, share jokes with your friends, go play with children and let yourself go. Promote that positive attitude by participating in these activities and get the positive stimuli flowing. You can’t shield yourself from all the negative things around you, but you can try focusing on good and positive things to enforce that positive attitude.

People always try to give advise when someone is down when actually maybe all they need is someone to sit, hold their hand and listen and with this positive attitude that you are developing you can be a great benefit to other people.You may be able to cheer them up just by them feeling your positive energy and attitude, but if a positive attitude is really so great and to be desired, then why do people choose a negative attitude instead?

Maybe they are actually sending a signal for attention, but before you get me wrong, feeling gloomy, sad, or angry, isn’t wrong in itself. But if you continue to dwell on these thoughts for very long it’s not healthy. when you are troubled and feel like this is your darkest hour try to focus on the good things in life and be grateful for what you have, then you will always find hope and problems will then seem like an obstacle you can overcome.

Studies show that having a positive attitude can actually lessen aging, makes you healthier, helps you develop a better stress coping mechanism, and has a very positive effect on all the people you meet every day. You do not have much to lose by adopting a healthy, positive attitude and everything to gain.
