More and more people are starting to worry about their vitamin and nutrient intake and many are turning to vitamin water. One of the most popular would be Glaceau vitamin water. They have many delicious flavors to choose from. The bottles are clear so people are concerned that the vitamins and nutrients are breaking down because of uv, but it is a uv coated bottle and shelf life is about 9 months so I’ve been told.
All Glacaeu vitamin water is made using distilled water with natural flavorings so you will get the maximum effects of the vitamins and they are absorbed better and faster giving you better hydration. They have b-vitamins and calcium which help increase your metabolism, however a lot of people are concerned with the crystalline fructose, which is 70% less sweet than regular sugar. A lot of the flavors are really good and it is infinetly better than drinking all that soda.
If you are dieting you will have to add in the 125 calories per bottle however if you exercise it will burn off quickly and you still absorb the vitamins. Some people do not consider this as an athlete’s drink because it has less electrolytes than Gatorade and some others, but then some swear by it, but as we know there are pros and cons for everything.
Some people have reported getting upset stomachs and the “trots”, but most were drinking it on an empty stomach and since it is so rich in vitamins you only digest those and nothing else and a lot quicker since your stomach is empty and it is not saturated with anything solid. Actually there are always pros and cons for every product out there. A while back they were saying milk was bad for you, go figure. Now they say milk helps make you slim. I have no clue where these people do their studies, but I guess you can get a group of people to say what ever you need them to say to back up your findings. Just depends on what your trying to find.
Compare the nutrition facts below and you will have your answer. I seldom ever drink soda any more. I prefer the flavored vitamin water and there is 2 and 1/2 servings per bottle plus it has nutrients and soda does not. Look at all the carbs and sodium in soda.

I LOVE VITAMIN WATER
Coke and pepsi cans both have 40 grams of sugar per can while vitamin water has about 29 per bottle and it has more fl. ounces in it. therefore, vitamin water has much less sugar
Vitamin water is bad bad bad bad bad for you there is so much hype about it but it has way too many sugars and this whole thing about not getting enough vitamins, well the fact is most americans get more vitamins than they need even without Vitamin water. Plus it doesn’t really give you the energy that water does and it isn’t as thirst quencing as water. The best bet is to drink water and just take a vitamin pill. DON”T BE FOOLED BY VITAMIN WATER’S HIP ADVERTISING.
My reccomendation for athletes is they should drink only water before a game and during a game. I say this because both Gatorade and Vitamin water don’t give you the energy you need to keep you going the whole game. Avoid vitamin water all together as it will neither give you energy or replenish it. Gatorade on the other hand is only good to have after a sporting event because it replenishes you. NEVER EVER drink Gatorade when your not working out I see fat people walking around drinking Gatorade or G2 because they think it’s healthy and they won’t get fat, but they do.
Before a game drink plenty of water and have a salty snack because the salt will help retain the water in your body keeping you hydrated for longer. Also water is cheap it’s really cheap and as of right now water is still the best drink for you.

My problem is that I drink more then two (2) case of pop per month. Is this healthy? I don’t think so, I was always thristy all the time.
I started with Vitamin Water on the 3rd of Feb. and drink maybe a half bottle of it, the next day I drink 2 bottle of it. I’m happyer then ever and feel a whole lot better then ever.
I feel more alive.
Now tell me if the Vitamin Water is not better?
Yes water is better but even today they put chemical in our water to help keep it fresher and clearer so now what?
I’ll keep drinking the vitamin water. also I’m drinking Dasani water, I like it better then tap water, Dasani water taste better then tap.
