Hi Debra,
You said you are a professional and own a hair salon does that mean your a naturalist? It depends on the state you live in, but usually you will find beauty schools where ever you live simply do a search for your city and include beauty schools.

In order to pass a board certified test and be legal you need a license and you have to have qualified and registered hours with your state board. I do not have a course because I am not a teacher and not certified to teach. I am a Cosmetologist and simply share my own knowledge that I learned in school.

I learned from Milady's Standard, do a search for their products if you want a reference to study and learn from. You may be able to even find the text books online to read. I hope that helps, if you have any particular questions I will do my best to help.

I am interested in learning more about the study of hair(trichology) and I would like to learn more thru e-mail from your company/website if possible. Do you have a e-mail list? I own a hair salon and I want to expand my horizons by becoming more knowledgable in the field of hair and hair care. I am a professional and I need to know about the structur, texture, shape and conditions of the hair and scalp. Can you help me? Do you know where I can go to school for this or can I learn on my own?
