The Beauty Denominator

Denominator (n) – The term below the line in a fraction; the divisor of the numerator and what does this have to do with beauty?

When an object is divided into a number of equal parts then each part is called a fraction. Always remember the denominator can never be zero because you can’t divide by zero. The fractions are proper, improper, and mixed.

Now I have never been great with fractions, but I do know we are made up of different parts to create the sum total. I consider myself to be a lot of mixed fractions. I’m sure I don’t know how this relates to beauty except the way I figure it no one can be a zero.

Everyone has something beautiful about them. I am a licensed cosmetologist and I decided to start this blog because too many people are judged by fashion standard beauty and it’s just not fair to those of us that are getting discouraged and depressed over the way we look.

Some very young people are taking drastic measures to change the way they look and it’s not fair or right for these young people to be under so much pressure. Why should so few determine what we should look like? Why do we let them dictate the way we see ourselves?
